With the change of duty at AIMSAD, Mustafa Sabri Erol was elected as the Chairman of the Board. Under the leadership of Erol, who returned to duty as the founding chairman, it is aimed to continue the association’s activities in line with existing knowledge and experience and to focus on the common priorities of the sector.

AIMSAD has entered a new era with the change in leadership at the management level. Following the departure of the Chairman of the Board, İsmet Toktaş, Mustafa Sabri Erol was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Board of AIMSAD by the board members in a meeting held within the framework of the relevant article of the Association’s Bylaws. During the same process, alternate Member of the Board Cem Muzaffer Gül was included as a full member, while Serhan Aksu was appointed to the Vice Chairman of the Board position vacated by Erol’s election as Chairman of the Board.

AIMSAD Chairman of the Board Mustafa Sabri Erol, making evaluations regarding his new role, stated: “Being re-elected to the presidency of AIMSAD, where I am a founding chairman, is very precious to me. Our association, whose developments I have witnessed firsthand since its establishment, has proven itself over the years and has risen to the position of the unifying umbrella organization of the Turkish woodworking machinery sector. The AIMSAD Board of Directors, which fulfills its duties in the best possible way, will continue to take steps with the same determination in the coming period and continue to carry out work in favor of its members. In this period of difficult economic conditions, we believe that unity and solidarity are more important than ever for our sector. In the coming period, we aim to take this strong structure even further, increase cooperation between our members, and strengthen our sector’s position in the international arena. We will focus on projects that will increase the competitive power of our companies. While strengthening our position in existing markets, a more effective working period that will support expansion into new markets awaits us.”
