Throughout 2025, AIMSAD took significant steps to enhance the visibility of the Turkish woodworking machinery sector on international platforms while strengthening its corporate representation and effectiveness in decision-making mechanisms.
AIMSAD has increased the effectiveness of the Turkish woodworking machinery industry on international platforms with the activities carried out on a global scale by taking important steps to strengthen its representation and visibility in the international arena. Accordingly, AIMSAD represented Türkiye at the Annual General Assembly of the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS). In 2026, it was decided to organize the general assembly in Istanbul hosted by AIMSAD.
On the other hand, the election of Mustafa Sabri Erol, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIMSAD, to the EUMABOIS Board of Directors was a development that further strengthened the effectiveness of the association in decision-making mechanisms at the European level.
Expanding corporate representation network in Europe
In line with its goal of increasing the international visibility of the sector, AIMSAD joined the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Türkiye) through the TWM brand. It also became a member of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Association (CCIIST), expanding its corporate representation network in Europe.
Strong Turkish representation at LIGNA 2025
More than 50 Turkish companies participated in the LIGNA Fair, which was hosted for the 50th time in 2025. The fact that 38 of these companies were AIMSAD members was a remarkable indicator of the association’s strength in representing the sector on international platforms.
