AIMSAD Board Member and Secretary General Arif Onur Kaçak and Assistant Secretary General Sıla Acar attended the Secretaries General Coordination Meeting hosted by the Sectoral Associations Federation (SEDEFED). At the meeting, the road map for the upcoming period was evaluated to strengthen the cooperation between member associations, increase coordination and produce more effective results with joint projects.
In order to strengthen the communication between member associations and to carry the cooperation under the roof of the federation to a more systematic basis, the General Secretaries Coordination Meeting was organized. AIMSAD Board Member and Secretary General Arif Onur Kaçak and Deputy Secretary General Sıla Acar also attended the meeting hosted by the Sectoral Associations Federation (SEDEFED).
At the meeting, the topics of clarifying common working areas, strengthening information sharing mechanisms and increasing coordination came to the fore. It was emphasized that establishing a more effective communication network between member associations will both strengthen institutional representation and create a stronger impact on the public and private sector. While concrete steps were evaluated especially in the areas of data sharing, joint event planning, reporting processes and making working groups more active, it was stated that coordinated efforts to be developed within the federation structure would provide long-term gains.
“We need to increase our coordination power”
Commenting after the meeting, Arif Onur Kaçak emphasized the importance of strong communication and coordination within the federation structure and said: “Establishing a regular and structured communication mechanism between member associations will both increase the interaction between sectors and enable us to produce faster and more effective results in line with common goals. As AIMSAD, we are ready to contribute to the joint work to be carried out under the roof of the federation and to strengthen cooperation.”
