AIMSAD represented the Turkish woodworking machinery sector on an international platform at the Cairo WoodShow held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The contacts established during the fair formed an important basis for the development of the sector’s relations with the African and Middle Eastern markets.

AIMSAD participated in the Cairo WoodShow held in Cairo between November 27-30, 2025, representing the Turkish woodworking machinery sector on an international platform. Edda, Orimak, Turanlar, AHC, Timsan, Hizmethim, Dinçmak and As Metal companies participated in the fair together with AIMSAD and held one-to-one meetings with buyers and industry representatives from African and Middle East markets.

Mr. Çağlar Göksu, Undersecretary of Trade in Cairo, visited Turkish companies and AIMSAD booth in the fair area. During the visit, information was shared about the current structure of the Turkish woodworking machinery sector, its export potential and AIMSAD’s activities for the sector, and evaluations were discussed on the development of sectoral cooperation between Türkiye and the countries in the region, especially Egypt.

Arif Onur Kaçak, Member of the Board of Directors and Secretary General of AIMSAD, stated that Cairo WoodShow has an important place for the Turkish woodworking machinery sector in terms of access to the African and Middle Eastern markets and that the contacts established during the fair contributed to the increase in the awareness of the sector in the region and the development of long-term commercial cooperation. Kaçak emphasized that AIMSAD cares about the effective representation of Turkish companies in international fairs and that the activities carried out in this direction will continue in the coming period.
