According to the consolidated machinery manufacturing industry data released by the Machinery Exporters’ Association (MAİB), Türkiye’s total machinery exports, including exports from free zones, reached 13.8 billion dollars in the first half of the year.
According to the consolidated data published by MAİB, Türkiye’s total machinery exports, including exports from free zones, increased by 1.7% compared with the same period of the previous year, reaching 13.8 billion dollars in the first six months. During the same period, the average export unit value rose by 11% to 8.7 dollars per kilogram.
Germany was the leading export market, with machinery exports increasing by 8.7% to 1.7 billion dollars. The United States ranked second, with exports rising by 33.9% to 1.2 billion dollars. Italy, the United Kingdom and Spain were also among Türkiye’s top five machinery export markets. By product group, the strongest increase was recorded in turbines, turbojets and hydraulic cylinders, with exports rising by 25.6%. In contrast, exports of leather-processing machinery fell by 35.3%, marking the sharpest decline among all product groups.
