According to the consolidated data of the machinery manufacturing industry, Türkiye’s total machinery exports, including free zones, reached USD 11.4 billion in the first five months of the year.

According to the consolidated machinery manufacturing industry data published by MAİB, total machinery exports, including free zones, declined by 0.7% year-on-year to USD 11.4 billion during the January–May period. While export volume decreased by 10.7%, the average export value per kilogram increased by 11% to USD 8.6, helping to limit the decline in the overall export value.

During the same period, Germany remained the largest export market for Turkish machinery, with exports reaching USD 1.4 billion, marking an 8.6% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. Machinery exports to the United States rose by 30.3% to USD 949 million. Exports to Italy totaled USD 531 million, while exports to the United Kingdom reached USD 448 million. On the other hand, Iraq and Russia recorded the most significant declines among Türkiye’s machinery export markets.
