The first issue of TWM Magazine, which started publishing in the March-April period of 2024 in order to increase the international recognition and visibility of the Turkish woodworking machinery sector, was distributed in America, South America, Europe and the Turkic Republics being the important export markets of the sector.
TWM Magazine, the new magazine specially prepared for abroad by AIMSAD, the unifying force of the Turkish woodworking machinery industry, has published its first issue. The first issue of TWM Magazine, which set out with the aim of increasing the Turkish woodworking machinery sector’s recognition and number of influenced companies in target markets, was printed in 1500 copies. 1000 copies of the magazine were distributed abroad, 250 were distributed in the country, 150 were distributed to foreign mission trade consultancies in Türkiye, and the remaining 100 were kept for archive purposes. In order to organize the international distribution perfectly and in the best way, the magazines were distributed through the Fedex company.
The countries where the first issue of TWM Magazine was distributed include the USA, Austria, Germany, France, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Canada, Poland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, Brazil, the Netherlands and the Russian Federation. TWM Magazine was distributed to woodworking machinery dealers and distributors and Turkish trade consultants located in 98 different countries. In addition, it was sent digitally to 5,000 e-mail addresses in order for TWM Magazine to reach more people and to promote the industry in the best possible way.
The first issue of the magazine, which is prepared entirely in English, includes news about companies in the Turkish woodworking machinery sector, technological developments in the sector, sectoral analyses, many special interviews, especially the woodworking machinery and furniture sector, research on the branches of industry in which Türkiye is strong, and AIMSAD’s domestic and international activities for the sector. TWM Magazine, which brought a new excitement to the sector, was appreciated by both domestic and international sector representatives with its original content and modern design.

AİMSAD Publications Officer Sıla Acar shared her opinions about the first issue of TWM Magazine with us: “TWM Magazine is one of the most important projects implemented by AİMSAD in 2024. I believe that it is a very visionary move to publish a magazine entirely in English and targeting export markets, in addition to AIMSAD Magazine, which has been keeping its finger on the pulse of the sector since 2015 and creating an important archive source for sector stakeholders. Especially doing this under the roof of the association is a matter of special appreciation. From the moment we first started talking about the TWM Magazine project, we had no doubt that it would be very popular. With the feedback we received after the distribution of our first issue was completed, we saw that we were not mistaken. TWM Magazine, focusing on the Turkish woodworking machinery sector, many industrial branches and the values of our country, proved its success with its first issue.
