As one of the world’s most important woodworking machinery fairs, LIGNA is preparing to host its visitors for the 50th time this year, and the strong presence of Turkish companies at this prestigious event is drawing attention. With more than 50 Turkish companies participating and covering a total area of 8,000 square meters, Türkiye becomes the third-largest participating country at LIGNA 2025.

Held every two years in Germany, the LIGNA Fair brings together global industry giants and serves as the most important platform where the Turkish woodworking machinery sector will once again showcase both its production success and its strength in international markets.

This year, as LIGNA prepares to host its visitors for the 50th time, more than 50 companies from Türkiye will participate, covering a total area of 8,000 square meters. This figure places Türkiye as the third-largest participating country at LIGNA 2025 after Germany and Italy, highlighting the growing strength and recognition of the Turkish woodworking machinery sector on the global stage.

Türkiye has become a globally recognized power

The Turkish woodworking machinery sector has become a globally recognized force, thanks to its consistent growth and development over the years, not only within Türkiye but also on the international stage. Today, the importance of Turkish brands in global markets is steadily increasing, driven by technological innovations, high quality standards, and customer-oriented solutions. A significant contributor to this success has been the strategic actions taken abroad, and accordingly, Turkish machinery manufacturers’ interest in and demand for LIGNA have grown steadily over the years. When AIMSAD first participated in the LIGNA Fair in 2015, Turkish participation covered an area of 1,500–2,000 square meters; today, this figure has increased fourfold. In the coming years, this rate of participation is expected to continue rising steadily
