The EUMABOIS Annual General Assembly will be held in Istanbul on 7–9 October 2026, hosted by AIMSAD. Returning to Türkiye after eight years, the event will bring together industry representatives from across Europe while once again demonstrating AIMSAD’s strong international position and the global representative strength of the Turkish woodworking machinery industry.
The Annual General Assembly of the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), one of the important gatherings of the European woodworking machinery industry, will be held in Istanbul on 7–9 October 2026, hosted by AIMSAD. Following 2018, AIMSAD is preparing to host the general assembly for the second time. The meeting will address the industry’s current outlook, developments in international markets and opportunities for cooperation in the coming period. During the three-day event, participants will also have the opportunity to gain a closer understanding of the Turkish woodworking machinery industry and Türkiye’s production capabilities. During the general assembly, assessments are expected to be made on sectoral developments in Europe, market expectations, technological transformation, sustainability and key topics in international trade. The meetings, which will be held with the participation of representatives from different countries, will also be important for sharing common views on the future of the industry and evaluating new areas of cooperation.
Having begun preparations for the event, AIMSAD aims to represent the Turkish woodworking machinery industry and Türkiye’s production strength in the best possible way throughout the general assembly. The gathering, which will host industry representatives from Europe in Istanbul, is expected to contribute to developing existing relationships, establishing new contacts and strengthening sectoral cooperation between Türkiye and Europe.

President of AIMSAD and EUMABOIS Board Member Mustafa Sabri Erol, stating that preparations for the general assembly are continuing, said: “We are very excited to hold the EUMABOIS Annual General Assembly in Istanbul again after eight years. The fact that this important event will once again be held in our country is extremely valuable to us in terms of demonstrating AIMSAD’s effectiveness within EUMABOIS and its representative strength in Europe. While hosting industry representatives from Europe in Istanbul, we aim to further develop our existing relationships and lay the groundwork for new contacts between Turkish machinery manufacturers and European industry representatives. At the same time, through this gathering, we will have the opportunity to directly present the production strength, technological competence and position reached in international markets by the Turkish woodworking machinery industry. We believe that the meetings to be held in Istanbul will make an important contribution to the development of long-term collaborations and the further strengthening of sectoral ties between Türkiye and Europe.
