Luigi De Vito, President of the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), the umbrella organization of European woodworking machinery manufacturers, made important evaluations about AIMSAD and the Turkish woodworking machinery industry at the 36th WoodTech Fair. Expressing that he was honored to be a part of the WoodTech Fair, Luigi De Vito said: “Türkiye is a very important player for our industry. WoodTech Fair is a very important organization that brings this sector together. Here you can find technology, automation and digitalization together.”

Emphasizing that trade figures in the Turkish market are in an increasing trend every year, EUMABOIS President Luigi De Vito thanked AIMSAD for its work. Luigi De Vito: “We enjoy working with our member AIMSAD. We work together and compete together for the industry. As EUMABOIS, we confirm that we will cooperate stronger with WoodTech stakeholders for the development of the woodworking machinery industry. We are making this collaboration at a truly global gateway at the intersection of Europe and Asia, where technology has experienced great fluctuations and changes in world history. Today, we see Europe as a major contributor to innovation and a legacy of knowledge and standards, while we see Asia as a rising economic star and a promising market.”

President Luigi De Vito stated that WoodTech Fair is the right place to understand the woodworking machinery industry: “We know that we are in the right place as a sector. With its young and large population, dynamic entrepreneur class and advantageous geographical location as a bridge between Europe and Asia, Türkiye has become a manufacturing and distribution center in recent years. The woodworking machinery industry has the potential to take this success even further.”

Luigi De Vito continued his statements: “As EUMABOIS, we try to understand future trends in the industry. How will the industry we are in develop? What will be the real needs of customers in this evolution? We are investigating these questions. Both national and sectoral statistics serve as a beacon for the business environment. While this data shows us what is working well, it also highlights areas where we need to improve further.”
