The WoodTech Fair, the largest gathering of the woodworking machinery sector in Eurasia, is opening its doors for the 37th time. Scheduled to take place from October 12-16, 2024, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, the WoodTech Fair is set to bring exciting innovations to industry professionals once again this year.
In the first six months of this year, the woodworking machinery sector achieved an export of $72.705 million, continuing its steady growth. Despite a period of contraction in global trade, the sector increased its exports compared to the first half of 2023, with an export-to-import coverage ratio of 164%. The sector continues to contribute to Türkiye’s total exports through both domestic and international fairs. The WoodTech Fair, organized in collaboration with Turkish Woodworking Machinery Industrialists Association (AİMSAD) and European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS) under the RX Tüyap organization, will bring together industry representatives from Türkiye and around the world from October 12-16, 2024.
Over 300 companies and company representatives are expected
At the fair, which will showcase the latest products and services from leading companies operating in areas such as machinery and equipment for forestry, logs, and lumber; woodworking machines and equipment; surface treatment machines and equipment; machinery and equipment used in packaging; conveyors, transport and storage equipment; cutting and clamping tools; dust collection, ventilation, and filtration systems; drying kilns; impregnation systems; energy boilers; and software solutions, over 300 companies and company representatives are expected, along with approximately 5,000 international visitors, totaling more than 27,000 visitors.

As in previous years, this year the fair has received online visitor registrations from over 70 countries, including those in the Eurasian region such as the Middle East, the Balkans, North Africa, Russia, and neighboring countries, as well as from the UAE, the USA, the UK, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, Israel, Serbia, Jordan, Lebanon, Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco.
