AES America, the new company of AES Group, one of the important players in the Turkish woodworking machinery industry, brought together Turkish machinery manufacturers at the open house event organized in Charlotte between 23-25 January 2024.

Seven Turkish woodworking machinery manufacturers introduced their state-of-the-art machines and innovative solutions at the open house event held by AES America in January. Turkish manufacturers came together with American dealers at the event, which continued for three days, and observed the demands of the American market on site.

As AES Group, we are proud to launch our second showroom building. Our company, AES America, which we established to carry out AES Group’s sales and after-sales services activities in North America, continues to grow in the market. We accelerated this growth with the newly opened showroom. We introduced our showroom, which is to be open like a fairground all year round, to our dealers and customers at our open house event held between 23-25 January 2024. Our first open house event in America was very productive. Along with the AES product group, we also promoted the products of our partner companies operating in different areas of the woodworking industry. We had the opportunity to host many visitors during our three-day event. Our main purpose in the event was to introduce the machines in our product group with demo cuts, and we successfully achieved this aim. We aim to serve our customers with the 365-day fair concept in our AES America showroom. We want to hold our second open house event in America in June 2024. Afterwards, we plan to hold it twice a year, in January and June. As AES Group, we will continue our activities without slowing down and with greater intensity, with the awareness of being a global brand and as one of the locomotive companies of the Turkish woodworking machinery industry.

“All the needs of the sector were exhibited under one roof”

The organization, which we held in America, the world’s most important economy, in our carefully prepared 1000 square meter exhibition area, was held successfully with intense participation. The products of seven or eight cooperating companies were introduced in working order and with quality time allocated to each guest. The solutions of our umbrella company AES AMERICA, which supplies all the needs of the industry, from panel processing to solid wood processing, from painting to packaging, auxiliary small machines and even software such as CAD / CAM and ERP, were presented in the exhibition area. Visitors were welcomed with care. In the organization we held for the first time, more than 50 end users and around 50 personnel of seven-eight vendors from different states of America had the opportunity to examine and test our products in working order for three or four days. The first results are very good and we think they will get even better. We started our work to host another one as soon as possible.

The open house event organized by AES America was very successful in terms of informing our customers in the American market and introducing the Saf Teknik brand. With this event held under the visionary approach and leadership of AES, Türkiye’s most valuable brands came together and were showcased. This collaboration, under the name “ACCEMA powered by AES”, will open up very broad horizons for us. In addition, the open house event was a good opportunity to show the quality of Turkish machinery manufacturers to all visitors in the American continent before the Atlanta Fair in 2024. The machines we will sell in the Americas under the ACCEMA brand are relatively large investments as they are projects within a line sequence. The fact that we can offer the same performance and quality at much better prices compared to our European competitors in such large investments presents a great opportunity. Opening up to these new markets may not only bring new customers to Turkish machinery manufacturers, but may also provide new opportunities such as new business partnerships and company mergers. In a globalizing world, such initiatives will take us further and make us stronger in terms of developing more technological and innovative products.

AES brought Turkish machinery manufacturers together with a very successful initiative and created the opportunity to introduce our country’s best quality machines in the American market. In short, it was a very useful event. We are talking about a market where a population of 300 people. One of the largest economies in the world stands before us. Selling products to this market seems difficult until you start, but once you start, you see that it is actually easy. The American market has certain expectations, and once those expectations are met, America ceases to be a distant market.
