In 2020, the sector exported a total of 109.4 million dollars of machinery, while panel furniture machines constituted 56.7 million dollars of this number. Panel furniture machines, which reached an export figure of 68.5 million dollars in 2021, increased its exports to 85.3 million dollars the next year. This figure corresponded to 56 percent of the overall woodworking machinery sector exports. Finally, when the export data for 2023 was examined, it was seen that the total annual export of the Turkish woodworking machinery industry was 160.6 million dollars and panel furniture machinery exports were 86 million dollars. This showed that at the end of last year, approximately 54 percent of total exports were made by panel furniture machines.
