“LIGNA 2025 was extremely productive for both our industry and our association”
Arif Onur Kaçak, AIMSAD Board Member and Secretary General
Held every two years in Hannover, Germany, the LIGNA Fair is one of the most important platforms where our industry can showcase its production capacity, technological expertise, and competitiveness in exports on a global scale. The participation process, which began in 2015 under the leadership of AIMSAD, has evolved into a strong organization with over 50 Turkish companies, 38 of which are AIMSAD members. With an exhibition area of approximately 8,000 square meters, Türkiye was the third country with the largest participation at the fair. As AIMSAD, we continued our comprehensive promotional and PR activities this year, enhancing our sector’s international visibility while contributing to our members’ brands reaching new markets. Many of our participating companies left the fair with satisfaction and achieved significant gains through new collaborations and dealership agreements. LIGNA 2025 was extremely productive for both our sector and our association. In the coming period, we aim to further develop our collaboration and increase our global successes.

“The whole fair is buzzing with energy”
Fatih Kar-MAİB Board Member
LIGNA is the second trade fair I have attended with my industry. Last year, we participated in the IWF Trade Fair in Atlanta in August. According to my conversations with visitors, the majority say that this year’s fair was more crowded than in 2023. When evaluating the situation of Turkish companies that did not participate, I believe they should attend LIGNA, one of the industry’s largest trade shows. Buyers and sellers from all over the world are gathered here. The whole fair is buzzing with energy. I believe companies that did not participate should definitely consider attending this trade show.
