The furniture industry, which achieved an export increase of 11.56 percent in February alone compared to the same month of the previous year, achieved exports of 366.1 million dollars.

Furniture exports to the USA grew by 23.56 percent

The furniture industry exported mostly to Iraq, Germany, the USA, France and Romania in the first two months of the year. Exports achieved a remarkable growth of 58.77 percent in Iraq and 23.56 percent in the USA.

The sector, which aims to be one of the top 5 furniture exporters in the world, employs 242 thousand people on the production side and more than 250 thousand people on the store side. The foreign dealer networks of the brands in the Turkish furniture industry, which are among the top 10 furniture exporters in the world, are also expanding rapidly.
